Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MakeMyRewards mobile application and the website at makemyrewards.com (together, the "Service"), operated by MakeMyRewards ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, a resident of India, and able to enter into a legally binding contract. You must provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
2. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your phone number, OTPs, and device secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Earning rewards
- Rewards (in coins or rupees) are earned by completing offers, hitting milestones, or successfully referring new users — subject to the rules of each offer or programme as published in the app.
- Rewards are credited only after we verify the qualifying activity. We may reverse credits for activity later determined to be invalid, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.
- We may modify, suspend, or end any offer or rewards programme at any time without prior notice, except where prohibited by law.
4. Payouts & KYC
- You may withdraw earned rewards to your verified bank account or UPI ID, subject to a minimum balance and applicable processing time, as displayed in the app.
- Payouts require completion of identity verification (KYC) in accordance with applicable law. You authorise us and our partners to use your KYC documents for this purpose.
- We are not liable for delays caused by your bank, payment partner, or incorrect details you provide.
- Tax obligations on rewards, where applicable, are your responsibility.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- create more than one account, use someone else's identity, or attempt to manipulate the rewards system (including but not limited to bots, emulators, fake proofs, or collusion);
- upload content you do not have rights to, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes others' rights;
- attempt to bypass security, access non-public APIs, or interfere with the Service;
- use the Service for money laundering, terrorism financing, or any unlawful purpose.
Violations may result in forfeiture of pending rewards and termination.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, content, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
7. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. activity proofs). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and use that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the rewards balance in your account at the time the claim arose, or (b) ₹1,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Account Deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for legal reasons. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email, and the "Last updated" date will reflect them. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these Terms.
